I disassembled the front end, cleaned all the contacts cleaned up the headlight motors etc. On the buckets,  I cleaned them thoroughly them with lacquer thinner and a brush. I then used a small file to smooth out any pitting.  I used a flat black spray bomb and a rolled up rags with lacquer thinner to clean off the fins.  When it was dry I used the rag again to get any streaks I might have missed... A lot of time... But I think the spray bomb and lacquer thinner was around $10.  Been three years, still looks great...
